Found A New Kitten

Around the first of August, I found this little guy.
I had been watching him for several days. At one point, he had a mom and one other brother/sister. He was a plump little guy and seemed well fed and cared for even though his mom was wild.
Every few days I checked on him.
One day, I found him in the grass in a very despondent state. At first I thought he was dead. He wasn't in a normal sleeping position.
Luckily, he was alive but quite scrawny. I wasn't sure if something had happened to his mom (hit by a car, killed by a wild animal), and I couldn't find his brother/sister. Since I knew I wouldn't be back to this location for weeks (the place he was at was 45 minutes from my house), I decided to take him home.
But first, I stopped at a store to get bottles and kitten milk. He was very hungry!
In the first picture above, he is actually drinking from the bottle, but that only happened on two occasions. I had two kinds of kitten bottles with two kinds of nipples, and he didn't like either one.
In the second picture he is drinking from a child's medicine dropper. He liked that a lot!
After a little research, I estimate that he is about 4 weeks old. He has a few teeth. I feed him every 3-4 hours with kitten formula.
Just like with real babies, you soon learn which of his actions show that he is hungry and which of his mews mean he is hungry. In no time, you start structuring your day around the feedings. Our family was going to go out of town for the day before school started, but I soon vetoed that idea when I realized that I could not leave him that long without a feeding.
He's such a joy!
